PG SILESIA officially receives roadheader and set of machines and devices from BUMECH

PG SILESIA is pleased to inform that it received first complete roadheader, type AM-75/BZ1. It is very important moment in perspective of first longwall’s developing process.

Roadheader, type AM-75/BZ1, was received by PG SILESIA from assembly team of BUMECH. Then the roadheader was passed to representatives of BZUG company. BZUG’s employees will be performing preparatory works for the first longwall.

Jiří Paštika, Member of the Board and CEO of PG SILESIA, during the naming and launching celebration, broke a bottle of champagne and used following words: Go forward, work hard and effectively, your name is Anna.

Works connected with starting the roadheader’s operation are in accordance with the plan and they starts from 1st of April 2011.

Jiří Paštika commented this huge event: In less than four months we have here, in „Silesia” mine, first roadheader, ready for use. The roadheader starts the operation tomorrow. I think this is a result of effort of our employees as well as good cooperation with our local business partners. Everything is in accordance with our plans. Now we are waiting for second roadheader.

During celebration there was present Jan Sechter, Ambassador of Czech Republic in Poland and other guests, among which was Director of CzechTrade, Jiří Banot. BUMECH was represented by Chairman of The Board, Zygmunt Kosmała and BZUG by Chairman of the Board, Piotr Achtelik.
