PERSONAL CHANGES IN THE BOARD OF PG SILESIA
Jan Marinov was appointed to the position of Chairman of the Board of PG SILESIA. He replaced Michal Heřman, who has hold this position since December 2012. Michal Heřman stays in the Board of PG SILESIA as the Member of the Board.
Michal Heřman was managing PG SILESIA in the period when it underwent the thorough modernization process. Thanks to this the company has become the benchmark for the other Silesian mines in the area of effectiveness. The main task of Jan Marinov will be continuation of efficiency increasing and further growth of PG SILESIA in the market. In the same time I would like to wish Jan a lot of success in implementation of very ambitious plans - said Tomáš David, President of Supervisory Board of PG SILESIA.
Till now Jan Marinov was Vice chairman of the Board of AL INVEST Břidličná. Before that he worked as director in ŽDB GROUP. He has been holding the position of Chairman of the Board of PG SILESIA since 1st of March 2018.
The main activity of PG SILESIA (Przedsiębiorstwo Górnicze "SILESIA" Sp. z o.o.) is hard coal excavation. The company produces hard coal for energy sector but also for retail sales.
